They were concerned, and wanted to make sure that the RO/DI system (reverse osmosis/deionization) we had installed in their restaurant would protect their 1,000-gallon saltwater reef tank from these nasty monochloramines.

This phenomenon is more and more common these days, where municipalities are adding chloramines to the drinking water.
